I have my domain name, I have hosting, I even have the super-user-friendly dreamweaver software and the sitebuilder software from my hosting site. I just cant seem to make it work. I can see the sample site on dreamweaver, but after uploading it to my domain server (ftp settings working fine), nothing has shown up. I waited 2 days, now's the third day. I just need someone (hopefully someone in the bundang area) who can show me in person the beginner steps to make this work and to show me what I am doing wrong. Many thanks. PM me if u wish.

So you uploaded it via FTP? It should be there instantaneously. My best guess is that you put it in the wrong folder.

Check the homepage file. Make sure it's called "home.htm." And make sure that there are no other files with that name.

also be sure that you upoaded your files to the correct folder. They should be in one of two folders depending on the naming convention your host uses.

public_html (most common)

or

htdocs (less common)
