Grade has two uses regarding school - one is your mark or score, and the other refers to the level of elementary school. Therefore, your second and third examples are good ways to ask what level of school you are in. "Which" is probably preferred by grammarians, but "what" is probably much more common with regular folk.
I would interpret your first question as asking me what my mark was in a recent test, or a more general question about my overall marks.
In college, you ask what/which year a person is in. It could be answered as first, second, thrid or fourth/last, but more commonly it is freshman, sophomore, junior or senior. "I am a junior" or "I am in my junior year." |
