Someone told me that his wife is a doctor. And I want to know more about her job ,like if she's a dentist or dermatologist, and etc.
can I ask
"What kind/type of doctor she is?''
,"What does she do exactly?"
or"What is her specific profession ?''
Thanks |

You could say,
"What kind/type of doctor is she?"
"What is her specialty?"
"What does she do exactly?" is good English, but to me it doesn't have a good meaning. It means I think she sits around all the time and doesn't do anything. It might just be my personal feeling about it though. |
