1
I don't see her as a nature-lover, I have seen her *blatantly* discarded her cigarette butts on the grass before.
What are other words that can be used there instead of blatantly?
2
I miss the old times.
Is that plural?
3
What is * artisitic literacy*?
4
He climbed the palace wall and stole the jewlery.
Is it interchageable with *climbed over*?
5
And, since no one has *ever* told the mill to stop.......
Sorry, the *ever* seems weird somehow...
Thanks, guys |

1. While not exact synonyms, a few come to mind that have the same flavor: deliberately, openly, brazenly.
2. Yes.
3. I'm not sure, but I'd guess that it refers to a knowledge of art.
4. In my mind, with "climbed," I picture the wall as being a part of the palace. With "climbed over," I picture the wall as surrounding the palace grounds. (Others may see it differently, though.)
5. It's not weird at all. "Ever" helps emphasize a long timeframe - literally since the mill was built. Without "ever," I'm not so sure about the timeframe, but I'd assume it was relatively short (without further context). |

That makes sense. "Climb the palace wall" suggests a large building with windows in the walls, so he climbed the wall and crept through a window.
"Climb over the palace wall" suggests the palace is a type of castle with a wall around the complex.

Climb the wall=does that suggest going into the building or just climbing the wall to get higher?
Thanks |

It doesn't imply any motive. You would have to learn that from what else is said. |
