There is no Florida Airport that I know of. It migh be Miami, or Tampa.
They are usually named after a city or county. Sometimes they are named for a person. JFK. La Guardia etc

You could say that you saw them off at a Florida airport, which means that it was some unspecified airport in the state of Florida.

steven - it seems that you mean that you saw your co-workers leave at a particular airport in florida.

to see someone off is slang for saying that you went with your co-workers to the airport in florida and saw them walk out of your range of eyesight. at that point, you assume that they got on the plane and flew away.

-- or you stood at the window, watched them enter the plane, and saw their plane take off.

it really doesn't matter if there is an airport in florida called the florida airport. the focus in your sentence was on the word off, correct? iitimone7
