In the trailer of Mr.Bean's Holiday,it goes "France doesn't stand a chance."
what does that mean?

In the US ,there are strict/clear/vivid zoning regulation.
Are all of these correct?

testing period
does this mean the period of testing a new worker before he or she is officially apllied?

#1 This sentence doesn't make much sense without knowing the context.
"France doesn't stand a chance" means that in a certain situation, France would fail or do poorly.
Strict zoning regulations -correct
CLear zoning regulations -correct
vivid - no. Vivid is usually used to describe a literary or artistic representation.
A testing period is a time set aside to administer tests |
