Could you tell me which is proper to use for the blank below ?

Q: " No one has used the new computer ( ) ."

A: <yet> or <already> ?

And please teach me the reason, too.

"yet" is correct.

"yet" is used when something that is expected to happen or might happen has not happened.
We have not yet decided what to do.

"already" is used when something has happened, especially if it happened earlier than expected.
It is only 9 o'clock and he is already sleeping.

Another thing is 'yet' is used in negative, but not affirmative sentences.
For instance:
He hasn't used it yet.
He has used it yet. (incorrect).

'just', 'already' are used in affirmative sentences.

He has just slept.
He has already slept.
He hasn't slept yet.

You are welcome, but your sentences have some mistakes.

Say:
'Thank you very much to both of you.' or, even better, 'Thank you both very much.'
'I can understand it clearly.' or, even better, 'I understand it clearly.'

Why can't "could" be used here?Is it because of grammar or the way it sounded to you

thank you

"could" is used for something that you might do or that might happen in the future. If you already understand it, say 'I (can) understand it.'
