I have a question. Could you teach me why is "even when" used
to talk about distance?
ex: "A and B are good shops, even when they are in close proximity to
each other." |

"even when" has nothing in particular to do with distance, but it can be used with distance.
It is worth going to a good store, (even when)(even if) it is farther away than other stores.
"even when" makes no sense in the "A and B" sentence. |
