Hello,

1.'She was shocked to learn /find out that her boyfriend was killed in the accident.'

2.'She learned/found out the truth just now.'

Could we use 'find out' instead of 'learn' here?

Yes, either will do. Or "discover." "She was shocked to discover that her boyfriend had been killed in the accident."

(Use the past perfect because the death and the accident came before her being shocked to discover it, which was in the past.)
