Hi there.

Could you help me with this?

"...Take advantage of every possible opportunity to increase your knowledge of the world in wich you live, and the ideas wich have contributed to the development of our civilization as it now exists. For you will soon be discovering that you can take a direct hand in many ways in shaping and influencing the sort of world we live in."
(John F. Kennedy)

Well, my problem is that "for" in the begining of the second sentence. I have never seen this before.
Does it mean "Doing this (taking advantage of every opportunity...) you will soon..."?

Thank you.

"For" here means "Because". Smile
