Just try reading simple English books (maybe newpapers, too), TV and try speaking it whenever you can. I don't know where you live, but try to fnd someone else to speak English with to improve. Anything like that helps.

I think you are the right person who will help me lot. Aren't you?
I live in village (India). I don't think here I will get someone to speak in english. But what can I do I have net facility at my home so I can mail you only.
Don't worry, I am very optimistic person. I believe that I will speak good english one day just what i need the help of someone.

If you have access to the internet you can order some Penguin readers. These are books that are real novels but the grammar and words have been simplified for different levels of English. They are fairly cheap and interesting to read. If you do read - try to read the meaning of the whole sentence or phrase instead of going word-by-word. You should be able to find the meaning of most words by reading the whole sentence.
