Hello, teachers!!
Ms. Spencer's charity raises money in order to send children with serious diseases on short vacations.
----->
What does "on short vacations" mean? Could you explain this?
Thank you in advance. |

Hello Learner -
It seems rather relative...
In many places, a 'short vacation' might be a week-end or a few days - perhaps up to a week; certainly not a 'fortnight' or a month.
How long is the 'typical' vacation where you live? Philo |

Dear Philo Kevetch:
Thank you so much for your easy-to-understand explanations.
I really appreciated it.
Have a nice day!
My typical vacation is a week-end or a few days or up to a week--just like you!! |
