Hi everyone,

Couple of days before, I was listening to a speech in which the speaker uttered....

"By our actions, we have proved to the world that sharing actually works and brings a bright future"

Is this sentence grammatically correct?.... Can you think of a better sentence to express the same thoughts?

It's a bit long-winded, but it's OK otherwise.

Grammatically it is correct and makes sense. Is there something about it that you don't understand or makes it seem not correct?

As 'asterix' pointed out, I too have a feeling that the sentence... a bit long-winded.

How can I modify the statement "By our actions, we have proved to the world that sharing actually works and brings a bright future" to a simple one that sounds more free flowing?

I can think of this one: "Our actions have proved to the world that sharing actually works and brings a bright future"

Any thoughts on this one?

We have proved that sharing works to brighten the future.
I'm not so sure you need to mention the future, even.
