Hello,
I need your help.
Shakespeare's work or works?
1. Most people these days cannot read Shakespeare's work in its original form.
2. Most people these days cannot read Shakespeare's works in their original form.
3. Most people these days cannot read Shakespeare's works in their original forms.
Which one is correct?
Thank you so much. |

| With the singular, the focus is on everything he ever wrote as one entity. With the plural, the focus is on each individual thing that he wrote. Either usage is OK. |
