In the following passage, is the underlined [u]it is usual politenes [/u]grammatically right?
" Our eyes communicate meaning. But people from different countries communicate differently with their eyes. In America, it is important to look into the eyes of the person you are talking to. But if you look for more than a few seconds, people will think that you are staring. Staring is impolite. People will ask themselves, �Why is that person staring at me?� In other countries, such as England or Israel, [u]it is usual politeness[/u] to look for a longer period of time at the person you are talking to. It shows you are interested in talking to the person. " |
