Hi,
Please explain what 'X has got it made' means:
"Although they never married or even lived together, it was clear that Greene adored her, gazing at her with an expression half doting, half amused. When he was not on his travels, their routine was unchanging, Yvonne arriving at the flat in Antibes at 12, by which time the writer's work was done for the day. They would lunch at a local restaurant, walk Yvonne's *beep* spaniel, Sandy, and spend the rest of the afternoon in each other's company until seven, when Yvonne would return to her own home five minutes away, leaving Graham a tasty little snack ready prepared for his evening meal. "My God, Graham's got it made!" exclaimed his friend and publisher, A. S. Frere."
Thanks. |
