Hello, teachers!!
(1) I woke up to find a message in my left hand.
(2) I woke up to find myself famous.
----->
I can understand (1), but I am not sure about (2).
In (1), when I woke up, I found a message in my left hand.
BUT, in (2), when I woke up, I became famous??? Can you become famous in just one night?
Would you help me?
Thank you in advance. |

.
The possibility is slight, but I suppose you could-- with a single headline in the morning paper. In any case, the sentence syntax and semantics are fine.
