Post subject: two choices
----Wonderful! Your monitor is a wise person.
----But in my opinion, he is _______ but wise.
A. cleverer B. braver C. more brave D. less brave
I don't know which to choose |
.
Are you sure you have the question written correctly?
You could say, for instance: - "But, in my opinion, he is more brave than wise."
Patrick worked very hard but he didn't pass the exam.
Why not?
Why (did he) not (pass the exam)?
"Although Patrick was sick and missed many classes he passed the exam." "How so?" How (was it) so.
A negative statement, such as,
Bill can't play golf today, will often beget the question, "Why not?"
A Positive will often result in a, How so? or, How come? response.
Actually, you could merely ask, "Why?" |
