Hi
Some nouns cannot normally be used in the plural,and that most uncountable nouns cannot be used with a/an at all,even when the have an adjective.
e.g. It's interesting work.(...not an interesting work.)
The paragraph above is in a grammer book I read,but I think that "It's an interesting kind of work." is possible.
What's your opinion?Thanks! |

| Yes, that's a good sentence. But "an" is modifying "kind," not "work," in that sentence. |
