Did you have a good time ___ Mt. Ali?
Which preposition should I use to fill in the above blank, in or on?
I did a Google search and found both are used. Can any native speaker make a comment? _________________ Thank you very much for your reply.

I would only use "in" if there were a town nearby that was named after the mountain, and I'm talking about the town.
Otherwise I'd use "at" or "on" - it'd depend on the context. (Unfortunately, I can't think of why I'd choose either one in a given situation, but I suspect I'd use "at" more often than "on".) |
