Hello, teachers!!
Do you find any differences between "highway" and "superhighway"?
I looked up in the dictionary, but I was not able to understand the differences between them.
Thank you in advance. |

A highway is an officially designated route, which may be almost any kind of road, everything from a freeway to an ordinary street with lights and stop signs. A superhighway or freeway is a limited access road with official uniform signage, on-ramps and off-ramps, multiple lanes, engineered for high speed. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

Dear CP:
Thank you for your easy-to-understand explanations. English is very difficult, isn't it?
Take care and have a nice day!! |
