Hi
...,a number of scientists and corporate executives who were at the reunion said NSFnet remained a powerful example of how a handful of government bureaucrats in concer with an equally small number of scientists made a set of carefully considered federal policy decisions,...
1. a number...executives=>the subject of the main clause.
2. said =>the verb of the main clause.
3. who...reunion =>an adjective subordinate clause to modify the subject of the main clause.
4. NSFnet...decision. =>a noun subordinate clause served as the object of verb "said".
5. how...decision. =>a noun subordinate clause served as the object of preposition "of".
Am I wrong with this point?
Thanks for your help! |
