Hi, everyone!

When you talk about youe everyday life, which sounds more natural?

1. I always get up at six on weekdays.

2. I usually get up at six on weekdays.

#1 is the sentence I found in a textbook. But considering the fact that everyone sometimes gets up a little later(or earlier ) than usual, I think #2 reflects the reality of life.

Thank you!

They both sound natural but the meanings can be quite different.
You are right about the "reality of life" comment, but #1 may only have a variation of plus or minus 5 or 10 minutes from six o'clock, while #2 may mean something like usually you get up around six but every second friday you can sleep till seven because you have to work until an hour later those afternoons.
