when you use "no additives", is it always plural?
like "no preservatives", etc.... what's the reason behind it?
I am just a beginner student.

On labels, yes it is always plural. The reason is that there is more than one type of additive that could be used. Saying "No additives" indicates that there are no additives of any kind used.
Good luck,
