In filling a application form, I came across the following sentence:
The level of course difficulty( AP, accelerated, honors, 100-level)
What do they refer to respectively?
Thanks |

They must be specific to the place you are applying. They can have different meanings for difference schools.
AP - I have no idea what this means
accelerated - means advanced
honors - means advanced
100-level - usually means first level of studies
But as I said it is a little different depending on the place. It is best to ask the place you are applying.

| AP stands for Advanced Placement test. In a lot of high schools in the U.S., special classes are given (AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AP English, etc.) to prepare students for the AP tests which, if passed with a high enough mark, can get them college credit. These classes are supposed to be college level classes, and as such fit the "honors" and "advanced" category. |
