Dear teachers:

(a) Please definitely recite what kind of system it is.
(b) Please definitely recite what kinds of system it is.

Which one is correct? Thanks.

When you are using recite in its sense of to list or enumerate
a). is correct, but it seems a bit stilted to say "definitely recite" when talking about a system.
More common might be: Please tell me what kind of system it is.
I would definitely like to know what kind of system it is.
Please give me the system's specifications.

Thank you. In your example, if the pronoun "it" is changed to "they", would it be: "Please tell me what kinds of systems they are."?
