1. don't "cut into" my tan time...
does that mean "don't use my time for a tanning session"?

2.
here's the "beauty part"...
here's the fun part?

3.
don't give "kissing faces"
what does that mean?

4.
Snort up a truffle?

A pig found a truffle by digging with his nose?

5.
what is to "p imp a ride"?
does it have anything to do with soliciting?

Thanks guys!!

Excellent questions!

1. When you cut into a person's time, you are making the person spend the time doing something else. If I say, "Don't cut into my tan time," I mean, "Leave me alone to get my tanning done. We can do what you want to do some other time."

2. It could be the fun part, the interesting part, the good part, etc.

3. It means making a face as though kissing, making the smooching sounds and all that, perhaps while talking baby-talk to your puppy, a child, your sweetheart, or maybe just when saying good-bye to someone.

4. Yes. The pig uses his snout (nose) to dig the earth. Noses also snort and blow and so on, so figuratively, the pig is snorting up a truffle.

5. It just means repair and fix up your beat-up old car (ride) so that it is fancy and fine, almost unrecognizable. If a p imp makes a girl become a pro stitute, he is said to p imp her out. P imps usually wear very flashy, flamboyant clothing, so when you p imp a car, you are making it look flashy and flamboyant.

There is a very intertaining TV show in the U.S. called "P imp My Ride," in which some horrible old wreck of a car is transformed by a team of experts into a stunning ride, wowing the car's owner with accessories, paint, upholstery, etc.
