Please tell me how many mistakes are in the following sentence: "The Germans are not much self-confident in the way they are." Is `much...�okay? Is `�n the way they are�okay? Please comment!

The Germans are not very self-confident. The Germans don't have much self-confidence. (I disagree with that. I think they are a very confident nation.)
