I saw the following expressions in my dictionary: the gay city of Paris, the lgoon city of Venis.
Then, if it's about Vienna, do you say "music city of Vienna"?
And is it OK to say "Vienna is called the city of music."?

I don't say it, but somebody might. And grammatically it is fine.
