"Alone with her destiny" is not okay. It's not something a native speaker would say. Are you trying to say that she has support from family or friends during her illness?
How about this: "She has cancer, but knows that she won't have to face it alone." or "She has cancer, but will have support, no matter what happens."
If this isn't what you mean, please let me know.
