I like to teach my students through motivational quotes and words, and sometimes I coine some. Please find the motivational phrase below and let me know if it sounds natural:
Success comes from doing what you love, what you are really good at, and never give up; the difference between success and failure is persistence.
Thank you very much! |

Hi Swim4life,
Try:
Success comes from doing what you really love and what you're really good at; and never giving up. The difference between success and failure is persistence.
Some really good motivational advice.

| Thanks Lotus. So it's semi-colon ( ; ) instead of comma (,) after "...good at"? |

After some thought, I believe you are correct. A semicolon separates two clauses. "Never giving up" is not a clause. It is a phrase.
I might change it to this:
Success comes from doing what you really love in what you're really good at, and never giving up. The difference between success and failure is persistence.
