Dear teachers,
can you tell me what's the differences between "suitable" and "appropriate"? "over" and "during"?
Thank you!

Hello puzzle at a glance I would say that "suitable" refers to objects. "We will go for a hike so don't forget to bring suitable clothing." "Appropiate" refers to behaviour "Burping isn't appropiate behaviour in public." "Over" refers to spatial relationships as in "It's over there." or time as in "He lived im Mexico over five years" and in this case can be replaced with "for more than" . e.g. "He lived in Mexico for more than five years." "During" like "while" refers to one event taking place with something else going on at the same time. e.g. "The plane broke apart during take-off." or " The plane proke apart while taking off."
As far as "over" is concerned remember that it is a proposition and there are few areas of English which have as many exceptions as preposition. Beyond that I would recommend looking them up in a dicctionary.
Hope that helps Wink
