Please don't forget you will present skits. Prepare all the material needed. Meet you at the Auditorium, not in this classroom.

1.I think that 'will' is not necessary. What do you think?
2.What does 'skits' mean?
3.What does 'present skits' mean?

Thanks.

1.I think that 'will' is not necessary. What do you think? It is necessary, because it is referring to the future. Without "will," the meaning would be that the persons being spoken to always present skits, which isn't necessarily true. This sounds like a reminder to the group that they are going to put on some skits soon.

2.What does 'skits' mean? A skit or a sketch is a short story or joke that is played out on stage for an audience. It may be (usually is) humorous or instructive, but is supposed to be entertaining. If you have ever seen "Saturday Night Live" or "Mad TV," you have seen all kinds of skits.

3.What does 'present skits' mean? It means to put on the little plays that are the skits. The actors for a particular skit present the skit / put on the sketch / act out the skit for the audience.
