Quote:
1.I put aside a private nest egg lest my wife should be unaware of it.
2.I saved my money for my own secretly without it opened by my wife.

I made the examples above which mean that 'I saved my money for my own secretly without it opened by my wife.'

Two questions

1.What is the most proper word which used among native speakers for 'a private emergency fund' (or 'a private nest egg' or 'money for my own which I put aside without somebody else knowing')?
2.Are the examples correct? If not, can you correct me?

Thanks.

Neither is correct grammatically. But first, where is the money? Does he have it hidden in a jar somewhere in his home, or is it in a bank account? Then we can tell you how to say it.

Thanks, Bob.

I'd like to know both cases that I have hidden in a jar at my home or a bank account. And let me change #1 to 'I put aside a private nest egg lest my wife should be aware of it.'

Thanks.

At home, you can say:
I have a hidden stash of cash at home that my wife doesn't know about.
or
I have a hidden nest egg at home that my wife is unaware of.

At the bank, you can say:
I have a secret bank account (that) my wife is unaware of.

If she does know about it but cannot access it, then you can say:
I have a private bank account (that) my wife doesn't have access to.
