"Some people aren't sure how to exercise and others think it is uncomfortable to go to a fitness center to work with a trainer."
In this sentence, "work" was used as the same meaning with "work out"?
If so, what's the difference between them? |

I wouldn't say it means the exact same thing as work out.
It basically just means you are cooperating with a trainer, working together, to improve your body.
That being said, it would also be acceptable to say "work out with a trainer" in that sentence. _________________
