Dear teachers:
I am a student. I've found that I am slow while I do the reading test. The 700-words articles with 12-14 questions will cost lots of my time. I wonder if there are any method or skill for me to improving my reading speed. Thanks a lot.

Could anyone help me? I'm eager to know the answer. Thanks.

Best wishes,
Howar31

This may not improve your reading speed, but it may help with efficiency: You might try reading the questions before you read the text, so you will know what kind of information will be needed to get the answers right. Sometimes you will find an answer as you are reading, and you can stop briefly, mark the answer, and go back to reading.

I'm sure other people have better ideas, but this method worked for me in my test-taking days.
