a lot of information -- OK
lots of information -- OK
many information -- WRONG
much information -- OK (but normally in a negative sentence: "I don't have much information.")
a little information -- OK

Most mistakes can be avoided by remembering that information is an uncountable noun. That's why many information is wrong.
