How do you pronounce "$78.12"?
(1) seventy-eight dollars and twelve cents
(2) seventy-eight dollars (and) twelve cents
(3) seventy-eight point one two dollars
(4) seventy-eight point twelve dollars
(5) seventy-eight twelve

| I'd say #5 is most common, followed by #1. |

In the United States, there are only two ways: (1) and (5).
$78.12 = "seventy-eight dollars and twelve cents"
$78.12 = "seventy-eight twelve"
Note: When reading an amount of money expressed as dollars and cents, never, NEVER say the word point. However, if you see a whole number of dollars (no cents) written as a number containing a decimal point followed by a word such as million, billion, etc., then say point.
For example: $1.5 million = "one point five million dollars."
