One day, to pay homage to Albert for all that he had sacrificed, Albrecht Durer painstakingly drew his brother's abused hands with palms together and thin fingers stretched skyward. He called his powerful drawing simply "Hands," but the entire world almost immediately opened their hearts to his great masterpiece and renamed his tribute of love "The Praying Hands."

The next time you see a copy of that touching creation, take a second look. Let it be your reminder, if you still need one, that no one -no one ever makes it alone!

What does the underlined sentence mean? Can you paraphrase it?

Thanks

It's like saying this:

May it (The Praying Hands) remind you that nobody makes it through life successfully by relying completely on their own power; we sometimes need help of a spiritual nature and that is often associated with prayer.

Something like that.

Or is it possible that the writer is trying to remind us to be thankful to people who help us succeed? If my memory serves me correctly, that story seems to be about a brother who sacrificed what he could so as to help his sibling pursue his career in art. The artist could not have made it without his brother's selfless support. Maybe that's why the writer says "We cannot make it alone."
