Hi,
could you please explain the folowwing:
On an ad I have seen on the street it read: 25 Euro/hour.
Since 25 is a plural number shouldn't it be 25 Euros, though on an 500 Euro bill it says 500 Euro.

I believe it is because the plural of Euro in some of the European languages is Euro. In other words, it does not change.
The only English speaking member of the EU does not use the Euro as its unit of currency. |
