The gun fired. My legs seemed to meet no resistance, as if I was ___ forward by some unknown force. The noise from the faithful crowd gave me greater strength. I felt the moment of a lifetime had come.
A. pulled B. pushed
Which one do you think is better? WHY?

Hi jasonlulu_2000,
The answer is "pushed", as in the description the writer describes a forward movement as a result of an involuntary action. 'Pulled' tends to be a more aggressive action, as in:
The man rushed across the street, as his dog pulled him along, straining on it's leash.
Hope that helps.
