I think the best way to learn English is to start from something that you like.

I believe everyone like reading jokes. Jokes usually full of slang and phrasal verbs that you can apply and use in your daily conversation. Beside that if you don't understand any English jokes you will have motivation to find the meaning of slang or words in the jokes just because you want to laugh like others . Laughing

guys,, let we share some English jokes that we have......

this is a joke that I ever read, just enjoy it!

Difficult And Easy Questions
In one interview, the interviewer got impatient about one guy because he could answer all the questions so quickly and arrogantly.
"Tell me your choice," said he to the boy, "I shall either ask you ten easy questions or ONE real difficult. Think well before you make up your mind."
The boy thought for a while and said, "My choice is ONE real difficult question."
I "Well, good luck to you, you have made your own choice!" said the man on the opposite side. Tell me: What comes first, Day or Night?"
The boy was jolted first but he waited for a while and said: "It's the DAY, sir."
"How??" the interviewer was smiling ("At last, I got you!" he said to himself.)
"Sorry sir, you promised me that you will not ask me a SECOND difficult question!"
Admission for the course was thus secured.

hi wid....
yeah, I agree with you. Because I like joke too.
Based on my experience, I learn many words, slang and phrasal verbs by joke. If I find some words that I don't understand, I will make a note for it. it makes me easier to memories the words easily.
we can very enjoy learn it and it is fun way to learn English,,
