Dear teachers:

I want to practice listening ability, but I have some troubles. When I listen to the conversation, I heard a word that I was familiar but I don�t know it�s real meaning. The following conversation will be ignored because I want to think up the meaning.
Is there any tips for improving my listening ability?

You should ignore words you don't understand and see if you can get the general idea of the sentence. You can always ask the speaker to explain in simpler words afterwards.
