Hi, please help me understand the meaning of "match" here.
Many thanks.
Our partner has agreed to match our profits from the fundraiser. That means we'll also be able to open up another center....
I guess our partner will also donate the same amount of money as "our profits from the fundraiser." Right or Wrong? |

If you match profits. It means you contribute an amount equal to the profit.
If your fundraiser made a profit of $100, your partner would then give you an additional $100. |
