Hi~everyone, I'm Chris.

I have problem with reading the magazines like TIME and Newsweek. As I know, these magazines are made for American students, and of course they are very helpful resourses for foreign students who want to learn English, and also good for developing their knowledge.
I'm a person who eager to learn English too. But when I read these magazines, I found that there were lots of unfamiliar words in the articles. Sometimes I would check them all, however, I got tired soon. Sometime I would just make a browse and skim on the articles, then I got the main idea of them. But I felt a bit odd for hadn't checked the words I didn't know.
Would somebody can give me some advices for dealing with the problem ?
I would really appreciate you kind suggestions~

If you don't know the words you have to look them up, learn what they mean and remember them. There is no other way. You have already done it with your own language. It requires effort and time. There are many online dictionaries available, they will assist you.

All right I see! Thank you for your kind replies. I'll try my best to learn and remember new vocabularies. Besides, my English teacher taught me a method of reading. She said if there were too many unfamiliar words in an article, for example, 10 more news words in it, then I had better not to keep checking the words, or I would lose the patience and passion and have no fun with learning English. I think she's also right~ Ok, nevertheless, I will still keep on learning and learning. There's no free lunch, isn't it ! Thanks for your suggestions again~
