What does "whip" mean in the following sentence?
"His whip is uber-fast."

It's either a strip of leather or cord fastened to a handle used for beating a person, or urging animals to go faster.
Or it's an official of a political party who maintains discipline among its members by ensuring they attend parliament and vote as they are told to vote (so much for democracy).
Or it's a dessert made from cream or eggs beaten into a light fluffy mass.
It depends on the context. |
