Tom felt like chased from a snake.

I feel it must be: Tom felt like being chased by a snake. Am I right?

Tom felt as if he was being chased by a snake, is correct English.

If you say "Tom felt like being chased by a snake", it means that he wanted to be chased by a snake. (For a little excitement in his otherwise dull life, no doubt Smile
