Does this sentence grammartically right? or wrong?
Passion is whatever makes you overcome obstacles.
I wonder if I can use 'whatever' or not. Is it more proper way to use 'what'? |

You should use what... it means the thing that - Passion is the thing that makes you overcome obstacles.
Whatever is used to emphasize a lack of restriction in referring to any thing no matter what
As you have already specified that it is passion that makes you overcome obstacles, you cannot use whatever |
