Are there any metaphorical meanings in "our computers in the West Wing" and "lowered my hand on that cold day."?
Before we turned on our computers in the West Wing, we inherited an economy that was shrinking seven percent, Mr. Biden said. Before I lowered my hand on that cold day, we had lost 740,000 jobs that month. _________________ Hiromichi |

Well. The first one means, "Before we started working" and the second probably means "Before I finished taking the oath of office". I am just guessing without seeing the rest of the context. |
