The following is my question:

To have efficient learning, studying habits are essential to achieve the goal, and building good habits is important as well.

Is this sentence correct? I think it would be better to say,
"To have efficient learning, studying habits are essential to achieving the goal, and building good habits is important as well."

Please help me out. Thanks.

I would say that achieving is better, although to achieve isn't wrong.
